The school, from the moment you step in, is filled with kindness and care and genuine love for kids and their learning and safety. My daughter is quite nervous in the water and her teacher(s) have been so understanding and kind while also assuring her she can test her limits and thrive. I feel my kids are safe and secure. My children feel safe and secure. Truly I'd recommend Aqua Tots Kanata to everyone

My son has been going there for almost 2 years now and the experience has been great! The team is very accommodative and friendly. A big shout out to some of their coaches who are extremely professional and amazing with the kids. Coach Julia and Coach Elaina have always been there for my son!! They both are very talented and are just amazing with the kids. The giggles just never stop :) Julia has a way with the kids, she makes all the classes very fun and interactive. No frowns in sight throughout the whole class. Thank you Aqua-tots team!

This is the place to go to get your kids comfortable in water, at any age! They focus so much on safety and I can see every week the progress my kids make. I never had this type of exposure as a child when learning how to swim. If you can bite the bullet and pay a bit more I promise you it’s worth it compared to the cities public swimming. You have unlimited makeup classes and so no stress if you can’t make a class. They also handle crying kids so well which is great for the new timid ones. Staff is very well trained. EVERYONE is genuinely friendly and seems very happy to work there. The kiddos love it.

The best swimming school for kids in Kanata. I wanted my kid to learn swimming safety and after a lot of research, I felt comfortable taking my son here. I'm glad I did. All staff are very friendly and knowledgable. I see an improvement in my kid's swimming already and it's been 3 months. I'm really excited to see his progress. Their rates are competitive and they offer free coffee for parents waiting which is a bonus :)

we love the instructors and the environment for the kids, easy location, affordable and very flexible to our busy schedules throughout the year. the ability to cancel a class and add an extra one to another week on another day is absolute peace of mind. However, i didn't give a full 10/10 because my husband and I have both noted that it has been consistently too crowded at our location (Kanata). It doesn't feel like there are too many kids in the pool, rather too many adults accompanying each child. It seems like both parents and sometimes grandparents are showing up to these lessons, crowding the corridors. The Shoes need to come off at the door but people aren't putting them off to the side or up on racks so they end up strewn across the floor blocking the door and become a tripping hazard. i've mentioned this twice now to staff but it hasn't improved and will only get worse in winter. There aren't enough bathrooms so if my child needs to use the toilet she tends not to ask until the last moment and both bathrooms are always in use with another person waiting at the door. I really appreciated the staff's (and instructor Malcolm's) response when my daughter was getting very upset about having to take her goggles off to dive and grab the ring. They listened and allowed her to keep her goggles on and build up confidence until she is ready to do it of her own volition. Thank you for your patience with her.

After 7 month of attending this swimming school our kid doesn't how to swim. Zero progress. My kid had fun there, but without any actual results. I though that my situation was unique, but I had a chat with other parents there and realized that this is a common problem. If you want your kid to actually learn how to swim, then this place might be not the best choice. Also be mindful when reading hundreds of 5/5 reviews.

We started aqua tots when my daughter was about 2 and then when my son was about 6 months of age. Staff is always extremely accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. One of my favorite features is when youve missed a class you can reschedule and/or "bank" the class until your next availability, so youre not losing money if your kiddo happens to be sick. My kids are always happy to go to aqua tots! 😃 So happy we found this spot!
